Following the aftermath of Storm Darragh, fire crews were called out to deal with a dangerous structure in Tenby, with the road closed whilst the incident was dealt with.

At 11.59 am on Monday, December 9, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Tenby and Haverfordwest Fire Stations were called to an incident at The Green in Tenby.

Crews responded to a roof panel that had been blown off a property and was hanging in a precarious position over a pavement and road.

Haverfordwest Fire Station’s turntable ladder appliance was utilised to gain access to the property’s roof and to remove the roof sheeting.

The nearby road was closed while the incident was ongoing. Crews left the scene at 1.20pm.
