“The next time you're at the checkout and you hear the beep...think of the fun you could be having on Supermarket Sweep!” - a popular gameshow catchphrase once exclaimed - but two people are being investigated in Pembrokeshire for ‘“grabbing everything they can get their hands on!” after being arrested for allegedly carrying out sex acts in the car park of a supermarket.

The first incident occurred in the Morrisons play park at Haverfordwest at around 5.45pm on Sunday, May 19; and the second incident at the same store’s car park at about 3.20pm on Monday, May 20.

“In both incidents two people appeared to be engaging in a sexual activity whilst in public,” said a spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police.

“Police have been advised that an image of the second incident has been circulating on social media.

“Criminal proceedings are active in respect of this case, and we ask that the image is not shared any further.

“A 31-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of ‘Outraging Public Decency’ and released on bail pending further police enquiries.”
