For one week only, visitors to a National Trust farm on the Pembrokeshire coast are being invited to stop and enjoy one of the thriving wildflower meadows, open as part of Open Meadows Week.

Access to National Trust Cymru’s Southwood Farm at Newgale has been improved recently with the creation of a new path that starts at the layby on the left just outside Roch on the A487. It makes it easier and safer to walk to and from the farm and enjoy views of the wildflower meadow.

National Trust Cymru Ranger, James Roden said:

“In celebration of our meadows being at their midsummer best, the Trust have an Open Meadows Week from July 1, National Meadows Day until July 9. It’s the perfect time to explore the estate, enjoying the wildlife as you walk down to the beach.”
