DINGHY Racing Results at Tenby Sailing Club:
Midweek Series, Tuesday April 23rd, Cornish Down Bowl: 1st, Osprey 1380, Dan Jackson and Matt Goldwait; 2nd, Scorpion 1995, Peter Rose and Jonathan Milton; 3rd, ILCA 7 175386 Julian Cumpsty; 4th, Osprey 1232, Robin Wood and Steve Leach.
Saturday’s racing had competitors on edge before the start with a stiff North Easterly kicking up large waves and bringing a stern wind chill.
Race officers Dewi and Robin set a tight triangular course that saw some intense planing and big wave surfing.
The gybe mark was successful rounded by all boats with no spills - a testament to the experience in the fleet.
At the end of race one two boats limped home with breakages leaving a reduced fleet to battle it out in an adrenaline fuelled race two.

The cruiser racing season starts on Saturday, May 4th at 3pm.
The second junior sailing Wednesday saw an encouraging attendance of 10 young sailors experiencing ideal conditions. The tide was in, the sun was shining and there was a good wind.
They all enjoyed themselves and were treated to a RIB driving experience after they had come in from the sailing.
The final quiz of the current series at the clubhouse is on Saturday, May 11th at 8pm.
