A loal county councillor has welcomed work to patch-up potholes in a Pembrokeshire village.

At a recent meeting of East Williamstion Community Council, the representative on Pembrokeshire County Council for the ward, Cllr Jacob Williams explained to members that, although it was located in the neighbouring ward, he was pleased to see that following representations by several of the area's county councillors, the Co-Operative Group had made good on their pledge to carry out patch repairs to the very worst potholes near to the Kilgetty Community Hall.

Cllr Williams said that this was greatly appreciated, especially as these long-anticipated works are part of the Co-op’s further pledge to completely resurface the affected surface area in due course.
